Meet Dr. Thompson

Dr. Michael Thompson

Dr. Thompson received his Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) from Marquette University in 1999 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Illinois in 2003. Dr. Thompson had the distinction of graduating #1 in his dental school class while receiving the highest National Board exam score ever recorded in the 93-year history of the school.

In 2006, Dr. Thompson completed his three-year orthodontic specialty training and Master’s Degree in Orthodontics (M.S.) from the University of Illinois Department of Orthodontics. Dr. Thompson is also an officer and past president of the McHenry County Dental Society.

Dr. T is married to his wife, Kim, who you may see running around the office. Kim helps with the marketing. They keep busy with their three kids, Kinsley, Kendall and Carter. When Dr. T is not creating beautiful smiles, you can find him on the golf course or playing ice hockey. The Thompsons love traveling, playing tennis, golfing and being together as a family.
