Hi! I’m Michelle

I enjoy working at CTO because I get to see the improvements in people’s smiles and self-confidence. I love the people I work with. We have so much fun together and communicate very well together. It’s nice to work somewhere that you really enjoy going to and have fun, as well as feeling like you’re part of something great.

My husband and I have 3 kids and 2 dogs. My hobbies are doing arts and crafts, creating things, photography, and traveling. I love spending time with my family and friends and creating memories. We love to travel and go on new adventures. We also love hanging out at home, having a movie night, & playing board games. Our wonderful dogs are an English Bulldog named Harley and a pitbull named Moose. We got both of our dogs as rescues and love their sweet personalities. They keep us entertained.

Hi! I’m Leah

I’ve been working at CTO since 2019. I love seeing the end results of a beautiful smile and seeing how much excitement patients have when finished with treatment. It truly is amazing and to see how much confidence one has. I love the people I work with! It makes me so happy to see the end results of a beautiful smile and the reaction of the patients. We do so much for our community and love the promotion of growth we have.

I’m married with 2 kids. My family is very close with one another. We love to go boating, fishing and snowmobiling and having game nights with family and friends. My favorite holiday is Christmas! It’s such a magical time and love spending it with family! Love seeing Christmas lights and making Christmas cookies and all the festivities that come with Christmas.

Hi! I’m Heather

I am the Scheduling/Marketing Coordinator here at Conlon Thompson Orthodontics. What I like most about working in orthodontics is building relationships with patients and witnessing their journey from start to finish. It is very rewarding. I am inspired by the power of orthodontics in improving patients smiles and confidence. I love working with my amazing co-workers and all of our wonderful patients each day.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, Todd and my miniature dachshund Frank. We enjoy boating in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. I love to watch football (Go Steelers!) and go ice skating in Chicago at Christmas time.

Hi! I’m Laura

I like the fact that I personally get to help make a difference in both children’s and adult’s lives. As a scheduling coordinator, I often am the first person to have contact with a new patient. It’s fun to follow them through their treatment from beginning to end and see the huge improvements in their smile and confidence. In my position, I wear many hats. This gives me the opportunity to assist with patients at different levels. Also, my co-workers have a variety of skills and personalities which make our office a fun place to work.

I married my high school sweetheart 30 years ago and we have two amazing daughters who live out of state. My husband Steve and I are outdoorsy people who enjoy traveling, camping, kayaking, hiking, and gardening. When we can all get together in 1 state, we love to eat, play board games, hike, and investigate new areas. I am so lucky to have a Golden Retriever! Piper has me wrapped around her big golden paw. She loves to get bathed and even lets me dry her with a hairdryer! We bring her along on our kayak trips and she loves to ride in our golf cart!

I love working with our patients! I love the people I work with We are a great team! We motivate each other and are there to pick each other up when we need it!

In my free time, I love to go boating with my husband, Scott, son, Jimmy & daughter, Jessica! My children inspire me to be my best every day! I love spending any and all quality time with my husband and kids! As my kids are getting older and busy with their individual lives I cherish all our family time together. In addition to family, I am a huge Football fan! I am a Chicago Bears fan through & through!

Hi! I’m Rilee

My favorite thing about working in orthodontics is connecting with my patients and seeing how much they’ve grown and connecting with them, they feel like family. I love seeing people’s transformations and giving them the confidence and smile that they deserve.

Outside of work, I have a twin sister who works in healthcare, and two older brothers, one with special needs who is deaf, and blind in one eye, and my other older brother who also works in healthcare, I love to do crafts, such as painting or making things. I like to hang out with my friends and go bowling or mini-golfing. My father inspires me the most, he is the most loving, strong-minded, hardworking man that I have ever met, and I aspire to be a parent like him one day. if you ever had the liberty of meeting him, you would say the same. he truly is the greatest man and I’m proud to call him my father.

I have two pets, who are both my world, I have a Shih Tzu named Hazel, and a cat named Abbigail, both are super loving, and love to cuddle, which is great especially when I have a rough day.

Hi! I’m Amy

I love working in orthodontics because I get to see the patients gain confidence each and every time they come into our office. My favorite part of the job is watching and helping Dr. Thompson take priority in each and every one of his patients. I love being able to volunteer in the community with my team.

My husband Rickey and I have two amazing boys named Logan and Cooper. We enjoy being together and laughing at all times. If I am not at the office or at the boys sporting events I can be found crafting and decorating something around the house. My parents are a huge inspiration in my life. They have been incredible roll models for me and my family.

Here are some of my favorites: My favorite holiday is Christmas because watching the joy on my families faces is the best feeling and being able to spend multiple days with my favorite people is the best feeling in the world. I enjoy watching the Chicago Cubs and any team Tom Brady is on but most of all I love watching my boys play any sport that makes them happy! My family and I love pizza Fridays and board games!

Hi! I’m Gabi

My favorite thing about working in orthodontics is being able to transform patients teeth into beautiful straight smiles.  I love my job because of the smiling kids I see everyday. Seeing kids become confident on their smiles makes my day.

Outside of work, I come from a family of 6 so I  spend a lot of time with my family. My dad is the person who inspires me most. He started his own accounting business from the ground up and struggled at first but he is extremely successful today. He inspires me to persevere and stay motivated to be the best you can be. 

I enjoy alot of things outside of my job. My favorite food is tacos.   I love to watch football and basketball. My favorite teams are the Bears and Bulls. I don’t normally play sports but when I do, I love to play volleyball.

Hi! I’m Salma

What I like most about working in orthodontics is seeing the transformation that patients go through. I especially love seeing the huge beautiful smiles that the patients give when braces come off, and it truly makes me super happy knowing that we helped create such beautiful smiles. Seeing their smile transformations really makes me feel super grateful to be apart of this amazing team. The majority of patients love coming to our office and having such a welcoming team makes my job not even feel like I’m working. It’s truly rewarding and I absolutely love it!

A little more about me, I am the oldest of three. I have a younger brother & younger sister, and I have two wonderful parents who have always been there for us. My parents have been my inspiration and they’ve always wanted the best for me and I always do my best to make them proud. They have always helped others and I too want to make a positive impact in someone’s life.

Outside of work I like to relax and unwind and or hang out with my boyfriend. My favorite food is anything Mexican. My parents are from Mexico and food is a part of our culture. I also really love red velvet cake! Yum! My favorite holiday is Christmas because of presents! I’m joking:)  but the reason why Christmas is my favorite is because I get to spend it with my loved ones. It’s a time where we come together and celebrate being together as a family. We play fun games and sometimes we karaoke.

Tell us what you like most about working in orthodontics? I love to see the transformation in people’s smiles. I love to see the changes and transformation in patients’ smiles.

Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family. We play board games and spend time with each other. I have 3 daughters 1 son and 2 granddaughters. In addition to spending time with my family, I like to do Zumba.I love to watch basketball my favorite basketball team is the Chicago Bulls.

Hi! I’m Karissa

I love working at Conlon Thompson because I️ like seeing the progress of patients when they start and finish with their treatment. I like the people I️ work with, and enjoy working at the place where I got the smile I️ have now! It’s a great atmosphere to work in and great Doctors who are always willing to help you learn and improve your work skills.

In addition to work, I enjoy spending time with my family, fiancé and dog chadd! I enjoy watching movies, shopping, and whatever requires spending money. If I had a dream vacation, I’d love to go to Fiji or Africa, I’d take my fiancé with me! I would love to see all the wildlife and how beautiful the land is in Fiji, and see the ocean. My favorite holiday would have to be Christmas because of how pretty everything is, but I hate how cold it gets. I own a Labrador retriever/ German shepherd dog! He’s my best friend, has all the energy in the world, loves to cuddle, and loves the outdoors.

I like working in orthodontics to see how improving someone’s smile influences and lifts their self-confidence. I am married and have 3 children. I enjoy traveling with my family, taking long walks, laughing around a bonfire (with s’mores of course), and exploring anything new together. I also enjoy spending time gardening.

 I  enjoy the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Blackhawks.

Hi! I’m Lori

I love working in Conlon Thompson Orthodontics as we build a community of confident smiles in a positive, welcoming environment. I have lived in McHenry with my partner David since 2014 and I have 3 children – 2 who are married and live out of state, and a teenager who goes to school here in McHenry. I also have one granddaughter.
I’m lucky, because I help patients beginning at their New Patient Consultation and watch them transform from that first visit to their last. I will never get tired of seeing those “first smiles” after we take a patient’s braces off and I LOVE when I hear someone ring the “Braces Off Gong!”

Outside of the office I love watching my youngest play lacrosse and football – both through the McHenry Jr. Warrior program.
I’m also a huge football fan – give me all the football Saturdays and Sundays! I also enjoy cooking and baking, exploring new places, listening to live music, writing and photography.

Hi! I’m Shanen

What I love most about working in orthodontics is making people feel so confident about themselves! It’s amazing seeing the process from the first day to the final day in our patients smiles and just how happy and thankful they are.  I love  giving people the best experience when they come to CTO. I had two Phases of braces when I was little from Conlon and Thompson and every time I went for an appointment they made me feel so comfortable and you could tell they loved their jobs. Now working there years later I get to make that same experience for our patients to remember forever!

When my husband and I aren’t working we love spending time as a family. Our hobbies together include going for hikes with our golden retriever, going boating, fishing, and just working outside on the yard.

Hi! I’m Brian (a.k.a. “The Lab Guy”)

I make prescription orthodontic appliances in-house at Conlon and Thompson Orthodontics. I strive to stay on top of the latest state-of-the-art digital 3-D orthodontic fabrication to deliver the highest quality of appliances. I have been working at Conlon and Thompson Orthodontics since August 2014.
Since then, I married my wife and we have had 4 kids (22months apart from oldest to youngest). We also have 2 dogs. We all love being outdoors as much as possible. We are a very busy family always on the go, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Hi! I’m Spencer

I started working for Conlon Thompson in 2020. What I like about my job is that the environment is very clean and the people around me are very nice! Everyone leaves the office with a big smile!

Outside of work, I enjoy record podcasts with my friends. My family is very supportive and we are all very involved in each other’s lives. We get together to play games or spend time on the holidays, My favorite sports team is the Seattle Seahawks! I own a cat and two dogs, My cat is very special and I’ve had him my whole life, I got my two dogs about a year ago and they are very good with kids. One of the dogs is the mother and the other is the son..

Hi! I’m Kim

I love working at Conlon Thompson because we have the chance to make a difference in our patient’s lives every day and it’s a really fun place to be. Being the marketing director, I love that I get to be creative because it fuels that inner fire inside me!

I am Momma to 3 beautiful babies – Kinsley, Kendall, and Carter. I love to travel, photography, gardening, and exercise. I love golf and used to run a golf magazine. I don’t watch sports too much, but I do love watching the Masters. We don’t have any dogs or cats yet, but we do have fish – the girls got them for Christmas this past year. I love watching Mike and the girls bond over trips to Aquarium Adventures.

I enjoy being able to change a person’s smile therefore giving them confidence.

Outside of work, I have two children, Ronan and Madalyn, my husband Scott and 3 dogs. We love to play volleyball and enjoy traveling with my family. My kids inspire me to be better and to get outside of my comfort zone. I really love Halloween. I have always loved dressing up and getting creative. So don’t miss next Halloween at Conlon Thompson!
